Eco Shot, LLC offers innovative ammunition and loading components crafted with polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs), providing a sustainable option for both hunting and target shooting. These products serve as an alternative to the use of traditional plastic wads, aiming to reduce plastic waste and protect natural landscapes. Completely biodegradable, Eco Shot's components minimize environmental impact without compromising performance on the range or in the field.

Founded by Andrew Thomas, an avid upland hunter and member of the Western Slope CO NAVHDA Chapter, Eco Shot promotes responsible choices for the future of our shooting sports. Visit their website to join their mission to enhance sustainability in the shooting community.

Creating a great dog is like creating a masterpiece. It starts with the best materials (genetics), then it requires skill, patience, practice/hard work, and a vision bigger than each individual brush stroke. Having trained dogs of many different breeds and for many different disciplines, has allowed me to build a skillset over time. I have trained and taken dogs all the way to the Invitational in NAVHDA, Regional Trials in NSTRA, and countless hunting dogs of all levels. It really is the small details & rewards I get from the dogs that make this such a passion of mine.

WESTERN SLOPE CONTRACTING

Michael Lewis started construction at the age of 8, working with his dad and grandpa. After High School, he received his master welding certificate from Tulsa Welding College and went on to become a welding engineer. In early 2026, he started his own company with a motto, “ We shall do good work. At a profit, if we can. At a loss, if we must. But always good work.”

At Western Slope Contracting, Michael believes a roof is more than just shingles — it’s the shield that protects your family, your memories, and your investment. With over 20 years of experience in construction, his team blends traditional craftsmanship with modern materials to ensure your roof stands the test of time.

Michael founded Western Slope Contracting to be different. Fully licensed, insured, and deeply rooted in Moffat & Routt County. Their mission is to provide transparent, high-quality roofing services that give you peace of mind. Whether it’s a minor leak repair or a full commercial roof replacement, they treat your home like their own; because to them, you aren’t just a customer — you’re a neighbor.

A Micro Farm Growing Produce On the Western Slope of Colorado
Brooks Elliott is the owner of a biodynamic farm and ranch nestled in a small valley surrounding the town of New Castle, Colorado. His passion for fresh, local food was the primary reason behind the establishment of Clinetop Farm. C.F. grows artisan plant varietals in a custom formulated blend of soil; that is consciously irrigated with clean mountain water. This equation allows the operation to generate produce that has distinguishing flavors and superior aromatics. The ranch’s goal is to ultimately help clients bring something special to the plate by offering unique, farm-fresh ingredients.

The smaller-scale farm allows for meticulous attention to detail, which is essential to offering chefs a standout product. Learn more here.
